About Us

What we do

The Clemmons Civic Club was formed in 1944. Since then, it has served as both a social and community organization. Early members took on the responsibility of helping to procure various services for the Clemmons area. This included the first fire station, phone service, and paving Lewisville-Clemmons Road. After the village incorporated many members have served as elected and appointed officials

.
Currently the club helps support the community by partnering with other organizations. We have worked with the Red Cross, the Clemmons Food Pantry, the YMCA, the Clemmons Rotary Club, the Shallow Ford Foundation, as well the village government. In addition, we sponsor Scout troops who use our building and grounds for meetings and activities. Our building is available for rentals to individuals, groups, and churches. In fact, over two dozen churches have started at the club. We provide two scholarships that we sponsor for Clemmons area high school seniors who have volunteered in the Clemmons community.

Going forward, the club seeks to grow its membership and expand its impact in Clemmons. We meet the fourth Thursday of the month to enjoy a meal and socialize. On occasions, we feature speakers with educational information that benefits the community and families. If you are interested in becoming a member and help us, make a difference, contact us below.
